London Metropolitan University
London Metropolitan University is the largest "single university" in London, serving more than 28,525 students and with buildings spread throughout the centre of London. The University offers 485 degree courses and has the largest choice of courses in London. The University has around 7,000 overseas students from more than 155 different countries. In 2005/06, London Metropolitan University was ranked third most popular university in United Kingdom for international students.
In 2011 London Met was awarded the highest accolade from the government's Quality Assurance Agency (QAA). More than two thirds of university research was judged to be 'internationally recognised', 'internationally excellent' or 'world leading' by the most recent Research Assessment Exercise.
Students have access to brilliant libraries, state-of-the-art £30 million science centre, seven stories of computers in technology tower, free Wi-Fi, a simulated Bloomberg trading floor, interpreting suites, multi-media studios and many more specialist facilities.
