The International English Summer camp will be organized at a beautiful place by the Baltic Sea in Kloogaranna (35 km from Tallinn the capital of Estonia), only 250 metres from the sandy beach.
WHAT DO VOLUNTEERS DO?
The idea of the Bellnor International Summer Camp is to raise the tolerance and interest towards other cultures, while being thought and speaking the multicultural language – English. The volunteers have the possibility to be in the role of the teacher, who will teach the students English language, while being given the opportunity to organise projects and different activities after daily English lessons with the camp supervisors. This allow the children to practise English not only in the language lessons’ environment, but also in very different other situations and on various topics. As this is an international camp, children speak English not only with the teachers and the members of the staff, but also with each other.
Being an international camp it admits pupils from the ages of 10 – 17 from all over the world. During the years we had children from such countries like Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Russia, Belarus, France, Ukraine, China and Germany.
The children are divided into study groups by their level and they study English for three hours per day.
Last year’s volunteers were from such universities like University of Aberdeen, University of Westminster, Middlesex University London, UCL, University of Derby and Baruch College.
The experience you can receive from this project can bring you a lot of benefits:
- Teaching experience
- Discovering new cultures
- Experience in event management
- New friends from different places
We would like to thank you for the wonderful opportunity to be able to work with your camp. We were able to learn and grow in many ways as well. We are very glad to hear that you guys are appreciative of us. We can say that same about our appreciation of you. We had a wonderful experience there from being able to teach the kids to playing and having the joyous camp experience along with the children and staffs. My experience in Estonia with Bellnor camp will definitely be a highlight in my life and an unforgettable moment. Although it we were excited to go back home to NYC, we cannot express the sadness of leaving behind Estonia. However, this won't be the last time we visit. We are very glad to get to meet and know each and every single one of you. Hope to see you guys again one day!

I simply want to thank you for providing me with the opportunity to participate in your summer camp. It was truly an amazing and, undoubtedly, an unforgettable experience. Not only did I build friendships through your camp, but I also had the chance to develop practical teaching skills. I would join your summer camp next year in a heartbeat, but I'm not sure that will happen. Hopefully, I'll see you again! Until then, take care!
Natalie (Baruch College, NYC)
At the end of the camp we give out certificates that indicate on your teaching and participation the International Summer Camp. The head of the organization can also issue a recommendation letter by request.
